I've found horror anthology games to be somewhat hit or miss, but this one was really interesting. I think it works because the games all have a simple gameplay idea, like fixing a drill on the fly or doing a lab procedure or playing a coordinate guessing game, and enough worldbuilding to motivate why you're doing it, and they let the scenario play out. So each game feels like a complete, cohesive experience even though they're so short and simple. If you've ever played Warioware, this actually reminds me of it--like a minigame compilation--except the story and aesthetic is dark dystopian horror instead of happy cartoony Mario characters. And I think that's why it works gameplay-wise. The worlds and stories remind me of like 1970's experimental horror films, and the grimy look and low-poly graphics work great for that. Definitely a good experience to go through with you. Sorry you ended up feeling bad, I hope by the time you read this (if you do) you're feeling much better.

Today we learn that this is the first time Reine has ever played Battleship. I like these collections of games. Short, dark, but fun. They warned us about the other side, but we didn't listen!
